Snap Actor To Floor
Drop an actor straight down until its bounds rest on whatever is below. Traces rather than using the editor's own snap, so it can say exactly what it landed on, and refuses when there is nothing below instead of quietly leaving the actor where it was.
hf_snap_actor_to_floorWriteArguments
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
actorreq | string | |
force | boolean = false | Edit even when the asset cannot currently be saved - for example when revision control is configured but disconnected. The change will be made in memory and WILL BE LOST unless the underlying problem is fixed before saving. Only pass this if you intend to discard the work or fix the connection first. |
max_distance | number = 100000 | How far down to look, in cm. |
use_bounds | boolean = true | Rest the bottom of the actor's bounds on the surface. False puts the PIVOT on the surface instead, which sinks anything whose pivot is not at its base. |
